Start with the tools you actually need. TacNet does not require a modpack, and a normal compatible Minecraft client may join without these additions.

Litematica & EasyPlace

Tested on TacNet Recommended starting profile

TacNet has server-side support for accurate technical block placement. The configuration below has been tested for Litematica EasyPlace, including directional and rotation-sensitive placement.

Baritone is permitted for pathfinding and normal survival automation. The suggested profile favors reliable movement and inventory behavior over risky movement shortcuts.

Advanced player tooling

MineScript & Automation

TacNet allows player-configured scripting, macros, pathfinding, and purpose-built automation when they perform legitimate survival tasks and remain under normal server policy.

MineScript

MineScript is an approved scripting option for player-controlled automation.

Normal survival actions and technical workflows are welcome
Scripts remain subject to the same rules as manual gameplay
A detailed TacNet-tested settings/profile section can be added as testing expands

Macros & custom tools

Purpose-built macros do not need to imitate manual input one key at a time, but their actual behavior must remain permitted.

Help us maintain technical support

Compatibility & Issue Reporting

Approved technical tools should not be incorrectly blocked by server configuration or anti-cheat protections. When something legitimate behaves incorrectly, tell us so the actual compatibility issue can be investigated.

Include in your report

Minecraft version
Mod name and exact version
Any companion/fix mods involved
What you were trying to do
What you expected to happen
What happened instead
Screenshots, messages, logs, or reliable reproduction steps when available

What happens next

Staff confirms whether the behavior is permitted
Client configuration is checked first where appropriate
Plugin and server settings can be reviewed
Anti-cheat compatibility can be adjusted narrowly when legitimate behavior requires it
The working configuration can then be documented here for other players
